Nhate Backwards

"Either you repeat the same conventional doctrines everybody is saying, or else you say something true, and it will sound like it's from Neptune."
— Noam Chomsky

Nhate Backwards does not believe anything about the way art is presented in mass media is correct and focuses only on the quality of life of the individual. He creates his own beats, writes his own lyrics, records his own songs, mixes and masters them

himself, designs and presses his own shirts, dvds and cds, and also creates all of his own music videos, doing all of the writing, shooting and editing and special effects: no label, no resources but his own mind, fingers and voice. He does get tips and tricks from people he meets along the way, but everything you see him do, and everything that you may buy is hand crafted by Nhate himself. He does this all alone and while holding down two day jobs. If you support artists who love their art and don't have a team of people around them doing all the stuff that self expression is meant to be, then support Nhate Backwards, and rock out with him at his show. He wants you to have a one of a kind experience and it is his doctrine to worship the fuck out of that experience.

Nhate was born as an old souled child in Detroit, MI. He was hailed as a prodigy, and had art on display in Japan and England by age twelve. He did not begin talking until a late age and did not develop social skills and was excluded from schools for the "gifted and talented" throughout michigan for behavior "problems." Meanwhile he was simultaneously winning national recognition as a young writer in national contests. His experimentation with sound manipulation did not begin until midway through high school. He collaborated with several Detroit artists as a mixer, producer and writer pursuing a solo record deal in college when he began performing with Black Milk Conglomerotti, along side Juan P who was mentored by the late great Jay Dilla in the ways of ill beat making. After Performing with rap groups such as B.O.N.E. and punk artists such as Head, Nhate BAckwards finally began working on his first solo album and his big break came in when began recording with Baatin of Slum Village, who told him "N*gga's will try to take your art from you, but it's universal, never stop." Nhate Backwards continues in the the tradition of all artists who know that they are expressing something cosmic to bring the world together when they create. R.I.P. Baatin.
